Resources

Here are some useful resources! Be sure to check out the Nesmith Library's official website under the Reading & Research tab for more.

Reading Resources

Open Library is a digital archive that provides access to books and other materials that are no longer under copyright. This means that you can freely read them on your browser!

Best Sellers Lists

Looking for a book that is still under copyright? Books to Borrow is a digital archive that offers electronic versions of books that are still protected by copyright.

To this service, you need to sign up for an Internet Archive library card (which only requires an email address!) You will then be able to access the materials you want in the browser or download as a PDF.

BookPage is a resource that offers book reccomendations to readers. The Nesmith Library is subscribed to the print edition, and it is available each month while supplies lasts.

Homework Resources

This site consists of U.S. history resources, including images, records, and more from the National Archive.

The Purdue Owl offers citation examples and explanations for MLA, APA, and other formats. This is a useful resource for in-text citations and reference pages.
