Why the Library?

Gold Award 9.jpeg

1

Community

One of the most important aspects of libraries is the community that they build. These establishments serve as a public center for local community members to gather and develop healthy social relations. For many, libraries are a safe haven in which helpful information is readily available from either its resources or community. Libraries also promote positive messages and outreach programs.

2

Services

The library is an establishment that provides educational and social support through its services. However, many don't give the library enough of a chance to realize that it offers countless public resources that extend beyond books. This includes programs that emphasize connection, but are still catered to people of all ages. With internet access, printers, rental services, and entertainment such as games and films, the library is a modern institution that serves its community.

3

Culture

Going to libraries is an invaluable experience as they provide a free space for growth. By fostering an appreciation for learning and providing access to various ideas, libraries establish a supportive community. Within libraries, there is a strong environment based on the belief of diverse expressions and perspectives. Furthermore, these institutions are public archives and landmarks of a resilient history that has had a lasting impact on culture.
